Problem Installing OpenRSI on AZBox Elite HD

Hi,

I am trying to update the official AZBox firmware to OpenRSI firmware on an AZBox Elite using the online process. I have updated the URL to http://www.openrsi.org in the setup menu, activated the update and selected the top file in the list named "160512 OpenRSI" but when I try to update it immediately goes to "Downloaded...100%" followed by a message "Error Fail to update". Is this URL now out of service?

I then tried the AZUP method by powering up the AZBox while holding down the Volume+ button on the remote control to get the IP address on the AZBox display. The IP address does not display, the box just boots up as normal and goes to a satellite channel.

I then tried opening AZUP and manually entering the AZBox OP address that it has (192.168.1.11), ticked the "Kernel Only" option and clicked the GO button for the kernel upgrade. I got an error message saying I had an old version of the kernel and needed to update it.

The current firmware in the box is 0.9.5308 AZBox Elite HD

I made sure that Hardware Acceleration was OFF

Surely there is a simple way to update these boxes, I have tried the recommended options and none of them work. Why is it so difficult to work with an AZBox? All I want to do is to get OpenRSI onto the box so I can have familiar menus that I have on a dreambox.

Is it possible to update both the kernel and the firmware using a USB stick to get from the official firmware to OpenRSI firmware or is that not an option?

Any help most appreciated.

Thx
